Inspired by 16th Century navigators, our Brass Sundial Compass is a beautiful memento from the Age of Discovery, when similar devices were used for sailing and map making. We’ve added a self-oriented sundial, so you can tell the time as well. When placed on a flat surface, the compass will naturally point North, projecting a shadow onto the hour quadrant to indicate the solar time. Makes a great gift for scholars and sailing buffs.
