<p>Tribulus terrestris extract tablet. Food supplement from Finland.</p> <meta charset="utf-8"> <p><strong>X-Potens® Tribulus 500 increases muscular strength, durability and virility.</strong></p> <p>Contains standardised Tribulus terrestris extract, the active ingredients of which are steroidal saponins, e.g. protodioscins. One X-Potens® Tribulus 500 tablet contains 500 mg of Tribulus terrestris extract and 50 mg of protodioscins.</p> <h3>Dosage</h3> <p>For adults during the first month one tablet twice per day, after that one tablet per day.</p> <p>Free from lactose, yeast and gluten. Suitable for vegans.</p> <h3>Physiological effects</h3> <ul> <li>Tribulus terrestris plant originates from the Mediterranean region. The plant has traditionally been used in China to support the normal functioning of the liver, kidneys, heart, blood vessels and immune system. Later, the plant’s effects on hormones and muscular strength were noticed.</li> <li>Tribulus terrestris increases the production of luteinizing hormones (LH) in hypophysis. Luteinizing hormones regulate testosterone production in the testicles.</li> <li>Testosterone speeds up recovery after physical efforts.</li> <li>In women, Tribulus terrestris affects in the same way by increasing the production of luteinizing hormones in hypophysis. This increases the formation of testosterone in the adrenal gland.</li> <li>Tribulus terrestris increases sexual desire among those women, whose lack of sexual desire is hormone-based. During menopause Tribulus can be helpful too, as it has hormone balancing effects. The product is recommended for women in periods of no longer than 2 months.</li> </ul> Meer lezen
