COMPREHENSIVE 9-LP DELUXE COLLECTOR'S BOXSET FOR THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL LEGEND WITH NEW AUDIO MASTERS. INCLUDES A 48-PAGE BOOK AND DVD WITH AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW ON THEIR CAREER. LIMITED TO 2,000 PACKAGES WORLDWIDE! Originally founded in 1986 under the name Black Death, Darkthrone has risen over four decades to become one of Norway's most notable metal bands, earning both reverence and a certain level of fame. The long-standing duo Fenriz & Nocturno Culto has inspired an entire generation of bands while remaining steadfastly uncompromising in their extensive catalogue, committed to the art of the riff and charting their own course against the tide of trends. From the technical perfection of their debut masterpiece "Soulside Journey" in 1991, through their pioneering role in the infamous “second wave of Black Metal” in the early 1990s, to their incorporation of punk and heavy doom elements, the Nordic titans have undoubtedly created an exquisite and versatile legacy. In celebration of their 40th anniversary, "The Fist In The Face Of God" in this limited deluxe set focuses on the band's purer black metal phase. The collection features nine classic albums, including the “unholy trinity” of the Peaceville albums, ranging from the genre-defining "A Blaze In The Northern Sky" from 1992 to the opus "Transilvanian Hunger" from 1994. The set concludes with Darkthrone's farewell work to their then-label Moonfog Productions from 2004, "Sardonic Wrath". Each album has been remastered by Patrick Engel of Temple of Disharmony to ensure fidelity to the originals. Each title also comes with its original cover and sleeve design and is available on heavyweight vinyl. Additionally, the set includes a 48-page book written by Harald Fossberg, a long-time friend of the band, detailing Darkthrone's career during this crucial period of development and creativity, alongside rare photographs from that time. Also included is a DVD featuring an exclusive interview with Fenriz and Nocturno Culto, conducted by Harald Fossberg, covering the entire history of the band, as well as bonus material in the form of a trilogy of interviews from 2003 and the rare live performance of the band in Oslo in 1996. Finally, the set contains a selection of posters and art prints featuring artwork and band photographs. Weight of the box: 4.55 kg Dimensions of the box: 390 x 340 x 105 mm Daha fazla bilgi edinin
