ZAKK SABBATH was founded by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, who is also known as the long-time lead guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE and now also for PANTERA. After initially performing live with changing members, the band finally found a stable lineup with OZZY OSBOURNE and ROB ZOMBIE bassist Blasko and Joey Castillo on drums (DANZIG, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE). Inspired by the 50th anniversary of BLACK SABBATH's self-titled debut Album, ZAKK SABBATH released a tribute to this monumental heavy metal milestone in 2020 under the title 'Vertigo'. The Album was praised by critics and fans alike. The trio celebrated worldwide success, reflected in impressive chart positions: the Album entered at number 5 on the US Hard Music Charts, number 7 on the Current Rock Albums Charts, and number 27 on the Billboard Top Album Charts. In France, it even reached number 1 on the Metal Album Charts, and in addition to reaching number 3 on the German Album Charts and number 9 on the UK Top 40 Rock/Metal Charts, it received further entries in other countries.
