The restoration - Joseph: Part two

Description

In the second half of 2022, Neal Morse dedicated his creative efforts to developing a new Rock opera, following the successful release of 'Jesus Christ the Exorcist'. The inspiration flowed, and the result is an almost two-hour-long music that tells the story of Joseph, known for his colorful coat, through the lens of progressive Rock in a unique style. Instead of presenting both parts simultaneously as a double Album, Neal decided to release the new opera in two separate volumes. He believed that the strength of both the music and the story justified this approach, as each Album stands as a testament to its inherent value. 'The Dreamer - Joseph: Part One' ends with Joseph being wrongfully imprisoned. In 'The Restoration - Joseph: Part Two', the biblical narrative continues, describing how Joseph's wisdom and intelligence lead him to become the vice pharaoh of Egypt and ultimately reunite his family. Once again, Neal Morse takes on the role of lead singer, while an impressive range of guest musicians, including Ted Leonard (Spock's Beard, Pattern Seeking Animals), Matt Smith (Theocracy), Ross Jennings (Haken), and Jake Livgren (Proto-Kaw, Kansas), join him in this second chapter. They work alongside members of the Neal Morse Band, such as Bill Hubauer and Eric Gillette, to breathe new life and music into this well-known story that promises to once again captivate progressive Rock fans.
