After the foundation was laid with co-producer Phil Sunday, the self-titled debut album was produced by renowned producer Sky van Hoff (Rammstein, Emigrate, etc.). GHØSTKID received support from additional friends during the studio recordings: Marcus Bischoff from their labelmates Heaven Shall Burn is heard on 'SUPERNØVA' and Mille Petrozza on 'CRØWN'.
