Mezzrow made a triumphant return after over 30 years with their current studio album 'Summon Thy Demons'. A pure thrash metal monster that is bursting with razor-sharp riffs and enthusiasm. On April 20, 2023, MEZZROW performed a spectacular show at the legendary 'Keep It True' festival in Lauda-Königshofen, one day before the release of their new studio album. It was their first ever gig in Germany, where they played four tracks from 'Summon Thy Demons' as well as from their debut album 'Then Came The Killing' from 1990. 'In fact, the band led by the energetic founder Uffe Pettersson brought one of the thrash albums of the hour with their comeback work 'Summon Thy Demons'. The groovy opener 'King Of The Infinite Void' and three other new tracks underline this fact. The old songs from the debut, such as 'Then Came The Killing', 'Ancient Terror', and the energetically rousing 'Frozen Soul' at the end, are solid thrash in the style of Testament and show no signs of aging,' Lars Schuckar states in the DEAF FOREVER Live-Review.
