Rival Sons will release their upcoming Album 'Lightbringer' in Vinyl format. The counterpart to 'DARKFIGHTER' will be released on October 20th. After rain comes sunshine, night is followed by day - and those who have successfully fought the darkness bring the light: Just over two months after the Album 'DARKFIGHTER', which reached the German Top 20, Rival Sons have announced their second LP of 2023, 'LIGTHBRINGER', for October 20th. As the title suggests, this is a sister Album to its predecessor. Scott Holiday, guitarist for the two-time Grammy-nominated band from California, says about 'LIGHTBRINGER': 'When you make two Albums back-to-back, there are many things to consider. The first record must have enough impact and capture the listener enough to make an even bigger impact with the second part.' 'DARKFIGHTER' and 'LIGHTBRINGER' were created as part of the same sessions during the year 2021. By their side once again: their established creative partner and longtime producer Dave Cobb. When 'DARKFIGHTER' was released in early June, the critics were unanimous in their praise: 'DARKFIGHTER has the potential to be Rival Sons' masterpiece,' exclaimed Classic Rock, and GLIDE Magazine raved: 'DARKFIGHTER is a lean hard Rock Album that condenses all of Rival Sons' strengths into a short attack.'
