It is precisely this thought that forms the core of Polaris' third album Fatalism; a record characterized by the feeling of despair and dystopia that has engulfed the world in recent years, and the overwhelming sense that we are powerless to change course. Fatalism is equally infused with fear and subliminal catharsis, an expanded perspective and heavier sounds. It organically builds upon the dark imagery and harsh sonic landscapes that permeate Polaris' ARIA Award-nominated album The Death of Me from 2020.
