While the goal of 'This Machine Still Kills Fascists' was to raise awareness, 'Okemah Rising' aims to get the party going. Even a party record can have a message - the band experienced this when Dropkick Murphys played the 'Okemah Rising' songs 'Gotta Get to Peekskill' and 'I Know How It Feels' to thousands of fans during their Germany Tour.
