Terrasite

Appearing in a jewel case. Although many bands have tried, none articulate the true apocalypse facing humanity as vividly and succinctly as Cattle Decapitation. With the 2019 release of Death Atlas, they reached the pinnacle of what some might have believed was their limit, but now they return with 'Terrasite.' As such, the band pushes their sound further into more epic and diverse territory, and in the hands of vocalist Travis Ryan, the dominant concept takes a new and disturbing direction. 'I wanted to do the 180° opposite of Death Atlas. I had the concept idea years ago, and since Death Atlas was so dark and contemplative, I wanted a completely opposite effect - I wanted this to take place in daylight. I've always found daylight horror very unsettling, so I wanted to make sure that what's happening on the cover takes place in daylight, which is also reflected in the lyrics.' En savoir plus
