In 2022, German extreme metal band MYSTIC CIRCLE emerged from the dark depths and released their self-titled new studio album. This led to an impressive comeback, with a furious entry at #78 on the official German album charts. With a lot of new inspiration, the two main members Beelzebub and A. Blackwar created nine new tracks for their ninth studio album, titled 'Erzdämon', which will be released on March 17, 2023, on their new label Fireflash Records. 'This new album is a logical continuation and further development of the previous album, it is more detailed and delves deeper into the world of horror. The satanic, demonic theme has been combined with mystical legends from old stories that will make your blood freeze. Musically, this is achieved through new and darker sounds and samples, as well as classic Heavy Metal parts,' commented the band, describing their new journey as a mix of their two classics 'Drachenblut' and 'Infernal Satanic Verses', as well as their recent masterpiece 'Mystic Circle'. 'We gave the album a German title because we want to close a circle and return to our early days. 'Erzdämon' sounds powerful and grand and represents the album 100%.' For the album cover, MYSTIC CIRCLE once again worked with Rafael Tavares, who developed the perfect artwork. The production with Nils Lesser seamlessly continues from the previous album: bombastic, brutal, and massive!
