Both albums set a sales record in their first week, with 685 thousand and 770 thousand albums sold in the U.S., respectively, and naturally reached #1 and #2 on the Billboard charts. Legendary hits such as 'November Rain,' 'Don't Cry,' 'Knocking On Heaven's Door,' 'You Could Be Mine,' and 'Civil War' were born from these albums. For the first time, all tracks have been given a musical treatment and come in contemporary sound quality.
