With their new single 'Heads Up,' Berlin post-hardcore trio Future Palace has written a bombastic anthem about the battle against depression, which was mainly inspired by the hopeless impression of the pandemic and thus creates a profound relevance. Musically, the band relies on a sound that can definitely reflect such a conflict: heavy riffs dominate the surprisingly sharp yet melodic guitar work that recalls the latest pieces by the Sheffield metalcore gods Bring Me The Horizon, thus revealing an almost cinematic representation for the fight against inner demons.
