Appears on black Vinyl. TURNSTILE has announced details about their new album GLOW ON, which will be released on August 27 on Roadrunner Records. In addition, the band has released a new single, 'ALIEN LOVE CALL' (FEAT. BLOOD ORANGE), which is now available. The accompanying music video is a compilation of the band's countless live performances - filmed and edited by band members Brendan Yates and Pat McCrory. Recorded with producer Mike Elizondo and co-produced by Yates, GLOW ON is the follow-up album to 2018's TIME & SPACE, where the Baltimore band ventured into new paths in hardcore, expanded stylistic boundaries, and explored new possibilities. With their new album GLOW ON, the band has further refined their idea of 'limitless' music. GLOW ON consists of 15 tracks that defy all genre boundaries, instead drawing from all corners of the musical spectrum and overflowing with imagination, passion, and infectious grooves. 'TURNSTILE has the ability to lure even the most pop-inclined listener with their spectacular hooks,' wrote the US magazine NPR about the single. The Rolling Stone also didn't spare praise and celebrated the album opener, 'MYSTERY?', for its 'hard-hitting onslaught of steamy power chords, stadium-sized rock drums, and blazing guitar solos'. And Stereogum magazine stated, 'If you want to make a big breakthrough, you might as well go all out, and with 'MYSTERY', TURNSTILE sounds like they are on the verge of becoming huge.' Read more
