Appearing as a black double LP in a gatefold - including the album in CD format as a bonus. The melodic death metal pioneers and founders of the Gothenburg sound are back with their new album 'Moment'. The four years between this and the previous album 'Atoma' not only allowed for numerous live shows, but also provided ample room for creativity and innovation. The two new additions on guitars, Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Johan Reinholdz (Nonexist), who were already part of the live band, impress with their virtuosic playing and give Dark Tranquillity's music a whole new touch. Once again, the Swedes push their own boundaries without losing their trademark sound and impress with fast, more aggressive songs like 'Phantom Days', 'Identical to None', and 'Empires Lost to Time', while 'The Dark Unbroken', 'A Drawn Out Exit', and 'In Truth Divided' come across as dark and beautifully melancholic. The album was recorded at Nacksving Studios and Rogue Music by Martin Brändström. Mixing and mastering were done by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios. En savoir plus
