Appearing as a re-release on black vinyl (180g). 'Americana' was released in 1998 and is the fifth studio Album by American Rock band The Offspring. Americana was a big success after its release, debuting at number six on the US Billboard 200 charts and selling over 175,000 copies in its first week. With a total of over 10 million copies sold, 'Americana' is the band's most commercially successful Album after 'Smash'. In Germany, the Album reached number 5 on the charts and was certified gold. One of the reasons why 'Americana' is one of The Offspring's greatest successes is certainly because of the punk Rock classics like 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)', 'Why Don't You Get A Job?', and 'The Kids Aren't Alright', which are featured on the Album.
