The rough Onkelz classic 'Onkelz wie wir' has been completely re-recorded and recorded for its 20th anniversary. With the re-recording, the Frankfurt-based band masters a balancing act that arises from two different motivations: On the one hand, the band has been engaged in a legal tug-of-war over the rights to this album for over a decade, and on the other hand, the Böhsen Onkelz also felt a genuine need to give the record a more contemporary sound.
