As Doro started her band Warlock in 1982, no one could have anticipated what the next three and a half decades had in store for her. Due to Doro's charismatic presence, powerful and unique voice, and always friendly and down-to-earth demeanor, Warlock quickly became known throughout the entire music scene and Doro Pesch was crowned the first true Metal Queen. After Warlock disbanded, Doro launched her solo career and achieved even greater success! She collaborated with industry giants such as Gene Simmons (Kiss) and Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), extensively Toured with her band, and became the star we know today. Albums such as her debut 'True as Steel,' 'Calling the Wild,' and 'Warrior Soul' & 'Fear No Evil' have been hailed as genre classics since their release. Among her successful albums is also her compilation album 'Under my skin (A fine selection of Doro classics),' which was first released in July 2012 (including a limited wooden fanbox).
