Appearing as a double CD in a Digipak (the bonus CD comes with the classic version of the album). The four Hamburgers from Mono Inc. named their 10th work 'Welcome To Hell,' which comes in a 2-CD format as a concept album set in the very dark time of the Middle Ages. On the first CD, Mono Inc. crushes everything in their path in their unique dark rock style. However, they don't do it without causing a whirlwind of emotions that range from relief and empowerment to sorrow, hopelessness, and fear, giving every listener a pleasant shiver down their spine. Infused with medieval elements, Mono Inc. transports you back to the time of the plague, making you feel the despair that settled in people's minds back then. Yet, you can't help but indulge in the stories of the songs and hit the replay button over and over again. The second CD, aptly and mysteriously titled 'Welcome To Heaven,' enchants the attentive ear with beautiful and tranquil instrumentation. The songs from the first CD are reinterpreted here in the style of a chamber orchestra, and the combination of piano, strings, and Martin Engler's unique voice creates an entirely new and intense feeling for the songs. In contrast to the rock songs on the first CD, here, one immerses themselves in the dreamlike poetry of the songs, which can depict the poetic beauty of misfortune, sorrow, and the feeling of freedom in a way that one couldn't have imagined before.
