The legendary live performances by Led Zeppelin on 25 and 27 June in 1972 in the Los Angeles Forum have been remastered on Blu-ray audio (no picture), in brilliant hi-res 5.1 surround sound. 96 kHz/24 bit 5.1 (DTS-HD Master Audio Surround) and in stereo mix. (PCM stereo and DTS-HD master audio stereo). For 30 years, it was only possible to get hold of the record as an illegal bootleg, until its official release in 2003. Anyone who’s had a listen will know exactly why. ‘How The West Was Won’ depicts Led Zeppelin at the top of their game. The updated version has been completely remastered under the supervision of Jimmy Page himself. This ensures that pure gems such as the 25-minute long version of ‘Dazed And Confused’ and the 21-minute long medley based on ‘Whole Lotta Love’ have turned out exquisitely.
