Remedy lane Re:lived

Description

In 2002 the Swedish prog band 'PAIN OF SALVATION', whose artistic range includes both metallic and recently also influences of classic 70's hard rock, released a masterpiece called "Remedy Lane", which is still highly popular today. In 2016, in advance of the release of their next studio album "The Passing Light Of Day", the formation based around guitarist / vocalist Daniel Gildenlöw, which is rightly regarded as unpredictable, makes a personal dream come true: "Shortly after "Remedy Lane" was released, Jens Bogren came in contact with us and offered his services. In "BE" and "Scarsick" he was involved in the background, but I've always wondered how "Remedy Lane" would sound like with his "Wall-Of-Sound". It was time to find out!" This was said then done, and now, 14 years after the release of "Remedy Lane" the devoted fans of the Swedish musicians get the chance to discover this complex, emotional new work, which ranges between ballads and crazy prog metal pieces. In the "Remedy Lane Re:visited (Re:mixed & Re:lived)" variant as 2CD 'PAIN OF SALVATION' offer you a completely new Jens Bogren studio mix and a live version recorded in 2014 at the ProgPower USA. On vinyl both variants "Remedy Lane Re:mixed" and "Remedy Lane Re:lived" are available as separate double LP's in 180g vinyl and gatefold sleeve and with the CD as an extra. Read more
