On the occasion of the Scorpions' 50 year anniversary, "Taken by Force" is released as a remastered vinyl replica edition including a CD with 6 bonus tracks (in a sleeve). It was the last studio album with Uli Jon Roth and the first with the new drummer Herman Rarebell. The new guy also wrote lyrics and helped out with "He's a Woman – She's a Man". The LP includes numerous classics. The ballad "Born to Touch Your Feelings" shows the Scorpions' romantic side, which has made them the "Masters of Ballads" over the years. Despite the musical differences between Uli John Roth and the other band members, "Taken by Force" is a fascinating album with no faults.
