IV

Description

"Led Zeppelin IV", which never got an official title, is one of the most artistically influential and commercially successful albums in the history of rock music. Released in November 1971, the album set new standards of rock for a whole generation with songs like "Stairway To Heaven," "Rock And Roll", "Black Dog", and "When The Levee Breaks" which are universally recognized. In 1999, "Led Zeppelin IV" was included in the Grammy Hall Of Fame and earned 23 platinum records in the U.S.A.! Like the previously published reissues, "Led Zeppelin IV" was personally remastered by guitar player and producer Jimmy Page, who worked on the original analogue tapes with passion and great skill. The deluxe edition of "Led Zeppelin IV" shines with previously unpublished versions of all original songs and contains alternative remixes of "Misty mountain hop" and "Four sticks", as well as remixes of "The battle of evermore" and "Going to California", which are heavily equipped with mandolins and guitars. Further, there is an alternative version of "Stairway to heaven" which was mixed in the Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles and presents one of the greatest songs of rock history to the fans in yet unheard dimensions.
