The Who celebrate the 40th anniversary of “Quadrophenia” with the Super Deluxe - edition of "Quadrophenia - Live in London" (recorded on the 8th of July 2013 in the Wembley Arena). This deluxe metal box contains the High Definition Blu-Ray™ and standard-DVD with the concert movie - both in 5.1 Surround Sound; a soundtrack of the show on double-CD; and for the first time a 5.1 Surround Sound mixture of the complete original album from 1973 on a Blu-Ray audio disc™. Additionally there's a big sticker in the look of a Mod-light, a Mod-light pin and a book of 32 pages with accompanying texts and pictures - the 10” metal box comes shaped like the embossing of the well-known , by the movie inspired Mod-logos, which is drawn on a Vespa SG scooter headlight. In 2012/2013 The Who went on the big "Quadrophenia and More"-tour and played in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the release of the fantastic double album in 1973 the complete legendary and pioneering Rock opera live on stage! The finale of the celebrated and also critically acclaimed tour took place on 08. July 2013 in the Wembley Arena in London and was recorded for the posterity. Read more
