The name ILDJARN originally spread through the underground Black Metal scene like a whisper during the early 90's, when this type of music was still considered dangerous and kept within secretive circles. With the release of the "Ildjarn" full-length debut, this buzz became a roar: raw, primeval and primitively barbaric this album is considered to be one of the highlights in ILDJARN's extensive back catalogue by many adherents.
