2. What data we process

We process only the personal data necessary to operate the comparison service:

• Email address and profile information when you create an account.
• Technical connection data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) for security and availability.
• Cookies and similar technologies as described in our cookie banner.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on Art. 6 GDPR: performance of a contract (accounts), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention), consent (non-essential cookies and analytics), and legal obligations.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep the site working. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or contacting us.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Affiliate links may redirect you to retailer sites under their own privacy policies. Hosting and authentication services process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.

6. Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts, a font service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), to load typefaces (e.g. Bricolage Grotesque, Inter, JetBrains Mono). The fonts are retrieved from Google servers. When you access this site, your browser connects to Google, and Google receives your IP address along with information about your browser and device. This may involve a transfer of data to the United States, which is safeguarded by Google's participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. If you do not want this transfer, you can block requests to Google Fonts in your browser; the site may then be displayed with a substitute font.

7. Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), to protect our forms (e.g. login and registration) against automated misuse, spam and bot activity. When you use a protected form, reCAPTCHA may be loaded from Google and evaluates whether the interaction originates from a human. For this purpose, Google may collect your IP address, information about your browser and device, and interaction data on the page. reCAPTCHA may also set cookies (e.g. the "_GRECAPTCHA" cookie). Google acts as our processor for this security purpose; data may be transferred to the United States under the safeguards described in section 6. 8. Your rights

9. Storage period

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Account data is deleted when you close your account, except where retention is legally required.
